Stray Bats reprint

When Kathleen Jennings said she might be able to swing the trip from Brisbane to the USA for the World Fantasy Convention I checked inventory of our titles. I’m happy to say we have copies of her first collection, World Fantasy, Locus, Ditmar, and Aurealis Award finalist, Kindling.

However, we were running very low on Margo Lanagan’s chapbook, Stray Bats, which Kathleen illustrated so off it went to the printer and now we’re in possession of a second printing.

If you’d like a signed or personalized copy of either of these, you can order them here or from Book Moon and leave a note in the comments.

Kathleen just received the World Fantasy Artist Award (congratulations to all the winners!) so I should note that over the years we have sold quite a few pieces of art at Book Moon. We have some online and more instore.

Over on Book Moon, we’re launching (from a supine position) two T-shirts, a tea towel, a tote bag, and maybe a few other things. It is a lot. There are Tuckerizations, too. Here’s the link. Any help sharing this — especially on all the other social media platforms we’re not on — is much appreciated.

We have some extra goodies on the BKMN website including two Small Beer Book Bundles at a 67% discount and a few more items.

One of our favorite authors and artists, Kathleen Jennings (books and art), will be visiting Book Moon on Friday Saturday October 31st from 2-4 p.m. Order art or books signed/personalized and we’ll ship them out in early November.

West Coast USAsians get a chance to catch up with her October 22-25 at the World Fantasy Convention in Oakland, CA.

Heads up for fun: launched a new T-shirt (2 days before the Indiegogo, ha!) but this one is on Bonfire and 100% of profits go to Translate Gender here in the Connecticut Valley. Many choices, most organic. As ever, social media shares are deeply appreciated.

We’re going to have some fun launching an Indie-a-go-go (well, I’d be up and dancing if I could be!) for Book Moon with our first tea towel (big news indeed) as well as two new T-shirts and some other goodies.

Turns out some of the items we were going to offer — including a Small Beer Press Book Bundle — did not suit so we’ll be adding them to BKMN site next Friday.

Fingers crossed there will something for everyone and any and all social media sharing would be appreciated as the only one either Kelly or I is on is Bluesky.
