but we got copies of Couch. Yay! (Pics TK of course.) And we mailed Ben copies. It only seemed fair.

So now we have a quick blog giveaway: if you want a galley for review leave your name in the comments and we’ll contact the first 3 North American readers and send them along.

You’re on! Email me your address to make sure it’s current and we’ll send it along. Ben points out that Elliot Bay has the book in their Booknotes for fall:

“When their apartment is unexpectedly flooded, three roommates must move a couch that exerts its will upon them by becoming lighter or heavier depending on the direction they travel; a couch that is unscathed after being hit by a train; a couch that inspires strange people to offer ridiculous sums to buy it; a couch that proves seaworthy and takes them far into the ocean; a couch that demands to be carried through a Central American jungle with armies of trigger-happy bandits in hot pursuit; a couch that may be as old as the world and powerful enough to either annihilate or redeem it. -C. Sabatini”

I would be very excited to have a galley to review. I’ve been eager to get my hands on a copy of this book. I am also eager to hear Ben read at Amherst Books in November.

Pam, Nick, Russell! You’re all in! (Ok, enough with the Project Runwayisms.)

Email me your addresses ([email protected] the usual place) and we’ll send them out. Hope you enjoy it.

Nick: Ben’s reading in New York City, maybe close?

    Russell: see you there!
