The new issue of One Story came in the mail which reminded us of how much we had enjoyed the previous one:

Issue #85, December 20, 2006 The Cure” by Owen King

Don’t go read the interview if you haven’t read the story. But, go read the story if you haven’t read the interview.

Who will like this? Barb, I think.

That was a good story, wasn’t it? Made me want to look into more King.

Weird. I went and ordered the issue (how could I resist after the shout-out/name-check/hand of Gavin coming down from the electronic heavens?)and the next page I visited on my morning rounds was a Maude Newton blog entry which started:

“Thanks to everyone who came out to the When I Was a Loser party last night, and especially to those who shushed the throng of investment bankers until they were shamed into relocating their networking/backrub party outside the reading zone.

Kelly Braffet and Owen King dug out plaid shirts, concert tees, and baggy pants from high school,”

    Doo DOO Doo doo…
